National Account Manager

 

POSITION SUMMARY

As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for the overall profit and loss of national foodservice accounts and retail accounts. This role involves building strong relationships, representing the company's best interests, and implementing innovative sales strategies. The National Account Manager will analyze trends, identify sales opportunities, and collaborate with the right team of the company resources to manage and grow the Globe and Varimixer product line. This role reports to the VP of Sales. 


RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead generation within targeted accounts

- Manage the sales process, including pricing formulation, proposal development, and negotiation

- Achieve sales quotas in terms of revenue and operating margin

- Maintain ongoing client relationships to generate expanded opportunities with established customers

- Develop relationships with key decision-makers in national and regional food retail accounts and populate Globe's database with relevant information

- Coordinate resources required for superior customer loyalty

- Become an industry knowledge expert in defined segments

- Attend and actively participate in related trade shows

- Pursue and manage leads with marketing assistance

- Develop and deliver customer presentations using a consultative sales approach

- Actively participate in the sales organization's strategic planning process

- Maximize productivity through improved management skills, sales strategy, and account planning processes

 

REQUIREMENTS


- 3+ years' experience in sales and delivery of commercial foodservice equipment solutions

- Prior experience in sales and delivery of consultative service solutions

- Proven track record of high sales quota attainment for a minimum of three years in similar accounts/markets

- Strong presentation and communication skills

- Undergraduate degree preferred but not required

- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement comprehensive service/account outsourcing strategies

- PC proficiency and strong organizational skills

- Successful and proven cold calling experience

- Proven negotiation acumen
